so far so good. Smokey at times. I am about a block from the southwestern evac line and the bottom of the pass. if it jumps the canyon and the highway we are hosed as the terrain is even rougher/steeper and unaccessible towards Pikes Peak, than what they are dealing with now.. AFA land burning and more threatened. Large part of Watershed for the area burned
Thunderstorn moving into area and is what blew this up and trippled in size yesterday as it forced 65mph winds into houses and through canyons,

all good. City boundaries 100% contained. Overall 80% containment. A good soaking rain last night without flash flooding. YAY!! The burnt toast smell is gone today.
Makes me cry to see the streets lined with people each night cheering the firefighters.
